Terms of Service

Welcome to Saunoa. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of our website, our booking system, and our floating sauna and cold plunge facilities in Toronto and Ottawa. By booking a session or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
In these Terms, "Saunoa," "we," "us," and "our" refer to 1001267723 Ontario Inc., operating as Saunoa. "You" and "your" refer to the person booking or attending a session.

Bookings and Payment
All sessions are booked in advance through our booking system. Your session is confirmed once payment is received and you receive a confirmation by email.
Prices are shown at the time of booking and are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes are added at checkout. We may update pricing, session types, and availability at any time, though changes will not affect a session you have already booked and paid for.
👉 In simple terms: Book and pay ahead of time. Prices are in CAD plus tax. We can change pricing later, but not on a session you've already paid for.
Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Late Arrivals
You may cancel or reschedule a session up to 72 hours before your start time for a full credit or refund. Cancellations inside that window, and no-shows, are non-refundable.
Sessions run on a fixed schedule. If you arrive late, your session still ends at its scheduled time, and we cannot extend it or offer a refund for missed time. Please arrive a few minutes early so you can change and be ready when your session begins.
👉 In simple terms: Cancel 72 hours ahead for a refund or credit. Later than that, or a no-show, means no refund. Show up late and you lose that time, since sessions end on schedule.
Punch Passes, Packages, and Memberships
Multi-visit passes and packages are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase. Unused visits expire at the end of that period and are non-refundable and non-transferable unless stated otherwise.
Memberships, where offered, renew and can be cancelled according to the terms presented at signup.
👉 In simple terms: Passes and packs have an expiry date and are non-refundable. Memberships renew and cancel per the terms shown when you sign up.
Gift Cards
Gift cards can be used toward any session or package. They are non-refundable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are valid until the expiry date shown at purchase, subject to applicable law.
👉 In simple terms: Gift cards work on any session, can't be cashed out, and have an expiry date.
Health, Safety, and Assumption of Risk
Saunoa involves exposure to high heat and cold water. These carry real physical risks. Heat and cold exposure may not be safe for everyone, including people who are pregnant or who have heart conditions, high or low blood pressure, respiratory conditions, or other medical concerns.
By attending, you confirm that:
You have considered your own health and are participating at your own risk.
You will not use the sauna or cold plunge under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
You will stop and leave the heat or cold if you feel unwell at any point.
You will follow all posted rules and staff instructions.
If you have any health condition or are unsure whether these activities are safe for you, consult a doctor before booking.
Every guest must read and sign our liability waiver before their first session. The waiver is part of these Terms. If you do not complete the waiver, you cannot participate.
👉 In simple terms: Heat and cold carry real risks and aren't for everyone. Don't come intoxicated, stop if you feel unwell, and check with a doctor if you're unsure. You must sign our waiver before your first session.
Age Requirements
Guests must be at least 18 years old to book and attend a session. The exception is private sessions, where children may attend when accompanied by an adult who signs the waiver on their behalf.

Facility Rules and Conduct
To keep the experience safe and pleasant for everyone:
Swimwear is required at all times.
Please shower or rinse before entering the sauna.
Respect the space, the equipment, and other guests.
Follow capacity limits and staff direction.
We reserve the right to refuse service, or to ask a guest to leave without refund, for unsafe behaviour, intoxication, or conduct that affects other guests or staff.
👉 In simple terms: Wear swimwear, rinse off first, respect the space and other guests. We can turn away or remove anyone acting unsafely.
Weather and Operational Changes
Our facility floats on the water. For safety, we may occasionally delay, shorten, or cancel sessions due to weather, water conditions, or maintenance. If we cancel a session for these reasons, we will offer you a credit or a reschedule. We are not responsible for other costs related to a weather or operational cancellation.
👉 In simple terms: We float, so weather can force us to delay or cancel. If we cancel, you get a credit or reschedule.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saunoa is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of our facilities, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be excluded under applicable law. This section does not replace the liability waiver, which governs the risks of participation.

Text Messages (SMS)
Program Description. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Saunoa ("we," "us," "our") at the mobile number you provided. Messages may include booking confirmations and reminders, account alerts, promotional offers, and customer support follow-ups. Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Message Frequency. You may receive up to 6 messages per month. Message frequency may vary depending on your activity and interactions with us.
Message and Data Rates. Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.
How to Opt Out and Get Help. You can unsubscribe from the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. After you send STOP, you will receive a one-time confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent. If you want to rejoin, you can sign up again using the original opt-in method or reply START. For help or more information at any time, reply HELP to any of our messages. You can also contact our support team directly at toronto@saunoa.ca.
Carrier Liability Disclaimer. Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ontario.
